French Gilt antique reproduction chaise longue upholstered in a pale gold silk. Made entirely by hand by top carvers and craftsmen. This chaise is finished in a genuine gold leaf, hand applied onto a coating of Gesso and firmly glued and brushed into the contours of the carvings. Real silk upholstery. The distressing has been carefully controlled to highlight selected areas, where most natural wear and tear would have occurred. A beautiful antique reproduction retaining the authentic look of the original item. Length 165 cm (5'6") x height 78 cm x width 65 cm.
