French reproduction gilt console table with gilt swags and bows over mantel mirror. This console set is finished in a genuine gold leaf, hand applied onto a coating of Gesso and firmly glued and brushed into the contours of the carvings. Veined marble top with bevelled and shaped edge. The distressing has been carefully controlled to highlight selected areas, where most natural wear and tear would have occurred. A beautiful antique reproduction retaining the authentic look of the original item. Console measurements are: height 80 cm x width 145 cm x depth 45 cm. The mirror measures: 130 cm x 125 cm.
