Gifts for Someone who has Everything
What do you buy for someone who has everything? Sometimes, it can be impossible to find that extra-special something – a gift that shows you have thought long and hard. Our previous blog post gave ideas of delightful stocking fillers and small gifts available from our showroom, but today’s post is all about ultimate gifting; items for the most loved in your life, when money is no object.
A Luxury Gift for the Car Lover
If you already have a Bugatti out on the driveway, surely you need a watch to go with it? Parmigiani Fleurier have distilled the very essence of the Bugatti Chiron supercar to produce this unique, limited edition timepiece. Available in white or rose gold, only 10 of each have been produced – and most have been pre-ordered. The car itself would set you back around $2.5 million, whereas the watch is a snip at $485,000.
Luxury Gifts for the Gadget Lover
When the new iPhone X just isn’t enough. Luxury lifestylers, Brikk, are now taking orders for their exclusive range of iPhone 8 and X models. Adorned with gold, rose gold, platinum and enamel or encrusted with diamonds and other precious stones, you are encouraged to customise your phone to create your own unique gadget. The ultimate status symbol. Prices range from $7,995 to $70,000 on standard models – and the sky’s the limit when it comes to bespoke finishes.
A Luxury Gift for the Lalique Lover
A must-have gift for anyone who loves either exquisite glassware or a sophisticated tequila. French crystal house Lalique have got together with Patrón Tequila to produce a stunningly elegant crystal decanter inspired by their signature Art Deco designs. Combined with Patrón’s rare tequila, aged for 8 years in a combination of American oak, French oak, and sherry barrels, this is a true collector’s piece at just $7,500.
Luxury Gifts for the Gin Lover
The world’s largest and most expensive bottle of gin was actually a gargantuan 9 litre bottle, specially produced by UK-based Silent Pool and valued at £5000. Another gin that is fiendishly difficult to get hold of is the exclusive Watenshi gin, crafted by Cambridge Distillery, coming it at £2,000. Recognised as the world’s most exclusive gin, only 6 bottles are produced in each batch. Housed in a stunning, hand-blown glass bottle, it is finished with a delicate silver leaf. Understandably, there is a waiting list for anyone wishing to buy a bottle. To join, email [email protected]
or a Quirky Alternative
Sharish Blue Magic Gin is a lot easier to find and adds a touch of colour, a rich fruity flavour and a splash of fun. Its blue colour comes from the Clitoria Ternatea flower, which unexpectedly turns pink when you add tonic water. It is an entirely natural extract and the change in colour is something clever to do with the pH level. At around £35, all of us here at Juliettes are looking forward to a bottle of this in our stockings.
A Luxury Gift for the Dog Lover
The perfect accessory for the well-dressed dog about town. What dog wouldn’t love to be seen in a gorgeous designer Louis Vuitton collar this Christmas? The LV monogram canvas is lined with supple leather and has a stylish, customisable dog tag and removable LV bow. Pamper your pooch for just £240.
No Christmas List would be complete without…
…a pair of socks! Or, in this case, two weeks’ worth of socks. The London Sock Company pride themselves on their stylish socks for the modern gentleman. Crafted using the finest materials, these socks are eye-catching, supremely comfortable and engineered to last. We have chosen this gift box of gloriously patterned, fun designs at £179 but if you are more of a restrained sock gent, don’t worry – they have socks to suit all sorts.
