The stunning new Range Rover Velar was officially launched on March 1st, just around the corner from Juliettes, with a grand unveiling at the new London Design Museum.

At the star studded event, an array of VIP guests were in attendance; including model Poppy Delevingne, comedian Jimmy Carr, actor Rob Brydon, presenter Natalie Pinkham, singer Rag ’n’ Bone Man and royal, equestrian star Zara Phillips.

The Velar was presented in spectacular style, accompanied by an orchestra and the dulcet tones of actor Damien Lewis, welcoming the newest member of this ‘iconic family of cars’.The Velar brings the Range Rover family to four, as it sits stylishly between the compact Evoque and luxury Sport variants.

The vehicle embodies architectural discipline and avant grade design, it is beautiful to behold and packed full of cutting edge technology.

Land Rover’s design director, Gerry McGovern described the process of designing the Range Rover Velar with real passion, including the following quotes:

Prices for the Velar start at £44,830 for the standard model while the top of the range First Edition is £85,830.

There will five engine options for the Velar, all of which will have an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.At the launch event, Gerry McGovern also announced the Land Rover partnership with the London Design Museum, which will bring a series of collaborations, exhibitions and events to the museum over the next three years.
