Just over a year ago, we launched a luxury giveaway offering participants the chance to win a luxury five-star break in Iceland with business class flights worth £4,000. The lucky winners, Caroline and Graham, recently claimed their prize, and have just returned from their incredible trip.
To say the stunning Icelandic scenery and luxurious Diamond Suites in Keflavík made for an incredible experience is an understatement. Iceland’s sublime mountainous landscapes make it the perfect destination to escape and unwind at any time of year.
The highlights of the trip
Before jetting off to Iceland, Caroline and Graham’s luxury experience started at King’s Road, Chelsea. With a visit to our London showroom! That day, our founder, Juliette Thomas, presented the winners with their boarding passes for their business flights. She also treated them to a lavish lunch at The Ivy, one of Chelsea’s top restaurants!
En route to Iceland, Caroline and Graham enjoyed exclusive airport lounge access at London Heathrow Airport before hopping on a complementary business class flight to Keflavík International Airport. Upon arrival, the couple were then treated to a personal transfer to their luxury boutique hotel.
Diamond Suites Hotel
Our lucky winners were absolutely overjoyed with their stay at Keflavík’s Diamond Suites Hotel. Here, they were able to enjoy authentic Icelandic food as they overlooked the ocean, courtesy of the hotel’s incredible seaside location. It’s no secret that dinner with a view is the perfect way to unwind.
Caroline and Graham were particularly impressed by the high-end decor of their hotel suite. It featured a jacuzzi on their private balcony, where they sipped champagne while appreciating stunning views of the city. At the hotel bar – described by guests as the best bar in the world – the couple tasted fine wines, cocktails, and Icelandic draught beers.
No luxury Iceland getaway would be complete without exploring the country’s unique culture and landscapes. Despite the fact that the couple were only in Iceland for a weekend, they were still able to enjoy the culture and uniqueness of this amazing country. Many of the country’s main tourist attractions were a short distance from the hotel, making them easy for the couple to visit.
During their stay, Caroline and Graham experienced delicious Icelandic cuisine and unbeatable picturesque views. Known as the “Land of Ice and Fire” due to its contrasting glacial and volcanic landscapes, this beautiful country has something for everyone, from nature lovers to adrenaline junkies.
