Our latest luxury London apartment interior design project is a true example of a sanctuary in a city. Located in Fulham Reach – part of the prestigious Berkeley Group portfolio – this riverside apartment overlooks the Thames and was calling for a design that captured the calm of the river whilst embracing the vibrancy of its bustling London surroundings.

Working with a returning international client, our brief was to design a modern home-from-home, suitable for long stays with the family. Key to the project were bespoke elements that maximise space, and carefully chosen finishing touches to bounce light throughout the home.

The Hallway – A Glowing, Warm Welcome

A hallway should set the scene of a home the moment you step through the door – and this luxury entrance is no exception. Organic, neutral tones echo the natural surroundings and immediately draw the eye to the stunning city views outside. Luxury tile flooring and a mirrored wall expand the space, bouncing light beautifully around the entrance. This hallway will offer a bright and warm welcome to our international clients as they arrive after a long flight, gently guiding them into the stunning lounge and dining area.

As they step into their refined riverside London apartment, a sophisticated welcome awaits. The contemporary console table is framed by glistening gold accents, including the original and striking Exclusive Unique Modern Gold Wall Mirror, which pushes light into every corner of the space. Adorning the wooden table top is the shimmering Set Of Two Gold Effect Vases and the beautiful Brass Plated Panther Silhouette – both undeniably enticing, resulting in a remarkable finish.

The Bedroom – A Haven of Peace and Tranquillity

As our client travels regularly between their home in London and the US, the bedroom had to be a sanctuary of serenity, designed to encourage rest and relaxation and rid them of any remaining jetlag.

The neutral colour palette is perfectly complemented with carefully considered accents of glistening gold, woven throughout the furniture and accessories, including in the eye-catching White Faux Litchi Effect Leather Tray. These elements, coupled with the opulent, lacquered built-in wardrobes, effortlessly ripple light around the bedroom, emulating the calming effect of the river’s waves, which can be seen through the full-length windows.

It’s impossible to resist the soft, cosy allure of the Beige Textured Faux Fur Throw, draped elegantly across the contemporary bed. An eye-catching statement, injecting texture and warmth into the room, particularly inviting during those chilly London evenings.

This enticing atmosphere is further amplified by ambient, low lighting projected from the Elegant Luxury Brass Table Lamp. This bedroom is the perfect place to unwind in after a busy day in the city.
