The Client’s Brief
This latest project — a bespoke dining table and chairs — perfectly captures the power of combining AI innovation with true craftsmanship. Our client, someone we had worked with before, approached us with a clear vision: a luxurious six-seater dining set, rich in dark wood tones and accented with gold. They wanted a true statement piece with a bold, sculptural edge.
Designing a showstopping six-seater is always a delicate balancing act. With a more compact footprint, every detail must work harder to deliver impact without feeling heavy. The goal was to create something striking, elegant, and entirely bespoke — a piece that simply didn’t exist anywhere else.
The Design Concept
To meet the brief, we turned to AI to generate a series of exclusive design concepts. Each captures our client’s love of opulence and contemporary elegance, showcasing how AI can unlock a whole new world of possibilities for bespoke design.
As soon as they saw one particular concept, it perfectly captured her vision. The AI-generated visual depicted a sleek, abstract dining table with a bold pedestal base, surrounded by beautifully upholstered chairs — all set within a modern, light-filled interior. It was the perfect interpretation of the aspirational design, and the decision was immediate. Given that we had already presented an extensive range of existing dining sets and none quite captured what the client was looking for, this project stands as a true testament to the power of AI-designed furniture. It shows how AI allows us to tailor entirely bespoke ideas and specifications with absolute precision, creating pieces that are genuinely unique and perfectly aligned with each client’s individual vision.
With the concept approved, we then translated the AI imagery into detailed 2D technical drawings, 3D models, and precise material specifications. This is where the true artistry begins, turning a digital idea into a functional, flawless piece ready for real-world living is highly skilled.
The Final Result
The finished Abstract Rectangular Designer Dining Set is a breathtaking marriage of form and function. The centrepiece table features a dramatic angled pedestal crafted from richly grained Ebony Macassar Veneer, resting on a tiered gold plinth. Fine metal detailing adds an extra touch of glamour and refinement, echoing the Art Deco inspirations that run through the design.
Paired with modern quilted dining chairs, also evolved from the original AI-designs, the set offers not only showstopping style but also luxurious comfort. Every element has been realised with exquisite craftsmanship, ensuring the final piece far exceeds even the client’s original expectations.
