What a night! Music, laughter, banter and great conversation. All this plus champagne, cocktails, caviar and canapés. All the ingredients for a fabulous party – and it certainly was. Our showroom was bursting at the seams for the launch of Juliettes Exteriors, our new sister company specialising in global luxury property development and refurbishment. So much fun and so many selfies!

Surrounded by so many friends of Juliettes Interiors, there was hardly room to move – not that it stopped anyone, especially once the music got going. The wonderful Ainsley Harriott seemed to be everywhere, never flagging for a moment. He was certainly in demand, both for canapés and photos but, like the true gent he is, he never stopped smiling. His flair, exuberance and fantastic sense of humour made it an evening to remember. And I don’t think anyone will forget his unmistakable laugh in a hurry. So while a great many of us may have had a headache the next morning, I imagine he needed to give his facial muscles a rest.
The champagne, gin, caviar and canapés were flowing, which probably explains the volume by the end of the evening. Our thanks to Kings Fine Food for the exquisite Siberian caviar, and Wild Island Gin for the essential ingredient in our signature J&T Cocktail. We were delighted to welcome Chris Osburn, otherwise known as Tiki Chris, the talented mixologist who created the J&T for us in a competition earlier this year. We lost count of how many were actually served but Juniper, our gorgeous gin trolley, did us proud – as did every member of staff who made sure that glasses were topped up and everyone was made to feel welcome.
Our guests enjoyed the unveiling of our new season’s luxury furniture collections, including our luscious new Dressing Room. Luckily, furniture of this calibre is sturdy, well-built and designed to withstand the rigours of daily life (and parties). Every piece of luxury furniture in the showroom still looked pristine the next day, unlike a few of us.
We would like to thank everyone who came along and made the evening such a success, particularly Ainsley who was utterly exhausted by the end of it. We loved every minute and, judging by the vast number of selfies taken on the night, our guests also had a great time. Keep an eye out for the next one because we can’t wait to do it all again.
