The requirements were quite specific. The usual safe tried and tested “London” look wasn’t going to work for this client. The project needed exclusivity and a uniqueness of character and personality. It also needed to take both the client and the local area into account. The overall finish was to blend harmoniously, providing a comfortable luxurious family home – incorporating the colours of Provence – to be enjoyed in private in a climate hot during the summer months and chilly during winter.Â
The home is laid out on the ground floor only. It’s surrounded by a super size swimming pool and large areas of mature gardens, including olive trees and tall palms.

Nature and design in perfect harmony
The local lavender played an important part – the colours of Provence! So, we successfully mirrored lavender tones around the pool area. This was achieved with luxuriously super-soft towels, together with striped and contrasting plain cushions. The lavender theme continued inside for the dining chairs, here we used a fabulous soft lavender shade against a dark frame for stand out appeal.Â

Contemporary and classic designs combined
A mix of contemporary and classic designs was a must, so luxurious classic fabrics with contemporary furniture finishes blended nicely. The lighting was also both classic and contemporary, blended together to bring brand a new exclusive look. Â
Listening to clients requirements in paramount. This project has clearly demonstrated our ability to offer something unique and exclusive, portraying our client’s warm, kind, charming personality, and desire for a most comfortable home to be enjoyed in a private setting.

Au revoir, Provence, et à bientôt!
