Interior Design Course : Bloggers on Board

As you know, we are busy preparing for the Juliettes Design School inaugural Interior Design Course from 4 – 8 March. We are so excited and are really looking forward to welcoming our first group of eager participants. Aimed at beginners and enthusiastic amateurs, our 5-day intensive course will give them the skills and the confidence to tackle interior design projects within their own home.

Award-Winning Design Team

Our award-winning designers are gearing up for 5 days of inspiration, creativity and fun. Their step-by-step approach will guide everyone through the fundamentals of the design process from initial concepts to finished design and how to manage their own residential projects. Working in a small, informal group will give everyone the chance to get to know one another, chat, make suggestions and share ideas. Sessions will be friendly and informative, with as much or as little help and hand-holding as is needed along the way.

Bloggers on Board

We are absolutely thrilled to have two exceptional lifestyle and interiors bloggers on board for the Interior Design Course, one coming in March, the other in June. Both are passionate about interiors and love taking on projects in their own homes. They have no shortage of fabulous ideas but admit that they have no formal training in interior design. Both say they are excited to learn from professional interior designers. They are looking forward to learning the essentials of creating room layouts, mood boards, colour palettes and lighting schemes. And we are looking forward to watching their ideas blossom with the addition of luxury furniture, sumptuous fabrics, the finest finishes and elegant accessories.

Stacey : The Design Sheppard

Interior Design Course, Stacey Sheppard, The Design Sheppard, head shot

Stacey Sheppard is an avid follower of everything interiors-related. She has written for an impressive array of design and interiors publications and websites including Designer Kitchen & Bathroom Magazine, Devon Home Magazine, World Interiors News and Achica Living. We are delighted that she will be bringing her boundless enthusiasm to our first Interior Design Course in March. If the name rings a bell, you may remember that Stacey worked with us recently on our Luxury Bedroom Design Challenge, creating a gorgeously calm, contemporary bedroom around one of our luxury beds. She very nearly turned down the challenge, saying it was way out of her comfort zone. We are so glad she decided to go with it because her ideas are fabulous. Watch this space and see how Stacey gets on with the March Interior Design Course.

Holly : Holly Goes Lightly

Holly Goes Lightly, Holly Wood looking pensive

Holly Wood (yes, her real name) writes about travel, food, parenting, lifestyle and, of course, interiors. She is proud to write about the things that make her happy, things that inspire her, and various bits and bobs in between. Having moved from London to Manchester, she now documents the renovation of her new family home but admits that she is no expert. Not yet anyhow. Holly is joining us for our June Interior Design Course and we can’t wait to see how she develops some of her ideas. We’ll keep you updated a little later in the year.
