Salon Privé is an unashamed celebration of all things exclusive, niche and aspirational. Yes, it is billed as a showcase of some of the world’s most superb cars – classics, supercars and hypercars – but automotive excellence is just one part of the overall experience.

Luxury cosmetics, fine fragrances, designer shoes, exquisite tailoring, bespoke interiors, home security, exclusive destinations and arriving in style. Every aspect of your luxury lifestyle is covered, and everything on display is truly the best in its class.

Part of a Wider Picture

At Juliettes Interiors, we spend our days in comfort and opulence, surrounded by the world’s finest designer furniture but it was still a wonderful experience for us, putting our luxury furniture into context as part of a wider, exclusive and affluent lifestyle.

Champagne & Cocktails

As well as all the superb brands on display at Salon Privé, all food and drink was included and was some of the finest we have ever tasted. As you would expect, the champagne flowed freely throughout the day, and there was plenty of Pimm’s to highlight the quintessentially British heritage of the event. We ourselves shared some entertaining gin cocktails with a host of equally entertaining people – expertly shaken and stirred by Keith Bonnington from Wild Island Gin (the cocktails, not the people).

The Finest Food

Lunch was a fabulous affair of the freshest lobster, tasty chicken and chorizo skewers, all served with a selection of delectable salads, parma ham, beetroot with goat’s cheese and delicious artisan breads. Desserts were delightful, with delicate tarts and a miniature Eton Mess. As if that weren’t enough, a short time later we were treated to a fantastic afternoon tea – dainty sandwiches, mini-mouthfuls of our favourite cakes and traditional scones with strawberry jam and wonderfully-indulgent clotted cream. Just as well this only happens once a year.

Of course, no review of Salon Privé would be complete without mention of the automotive element. Each day saw parades of the finest classic cars, supercars, hypercars and classic bikes, each one stunning, immaculate and polished to within an inch of its life. We saw British classics such as Aston Martin, Rolls Royce and Jaguar, Italian beasts by Bugatti, Alfa Romeo and Lamborghini, as well as classic bikes by the likes of Triumph, Norton and Sunbeam.

Ferrari Celebrates its 70th Anniversary

As a tribute to its 70 years of success, Saturday afternoon paid homage to Ferrari with a parade of 70 of the finest Ferraris in the world today. We had a grandstand view of every vehicle as they lined up ready for their parade. What an experience!

All in all, Salon Privé is a triumph, a treat for all the senses and a wonderful festival of what it means to live a luxury lifestyle. We can’t wait for next year.
