All of us at Juliettes Interiors really loved all the fabulous luxury bedroom designs submitted by our team of talented interiors bloggers, all centred around their favourite luxury bed. We have enjoyed every minute of the challenge, fantasising about the four fantastic bedrooms. Quite honestly, we would be happy to curl up for the winter in any one of them. The designs varied from floaty and feminine to ultra contemporary, with a style to suit everyone. We have imagined ourselves surrounded by cherubs and twinkling lights in Dear Designer’s fairytale forest. A Style Diary gave us warmth, lots of layers and the perfect place to hibernate. The Design Sheppard created a sleek, uber modern bedroom with cosy heather tones and splashes of gold. Last, but certainly not least, The Stylist and The Wardrobe’s sophisticated sanctuary combined decadent glamour with fresh colours and luxurious, warm textures.
And the winner is…
Of course, we could only choose one winner but this proved to be a lot more difficult than we had imagined. Each design was outstanding and the team here loved them all for different reasons. After much deliberation, we have eventually chosen a truly luxury bedroom that gave us the ultimate in comfort, combining gossamer-fine fabrics with homespun warmth and touches of classic glamour.
Congratulations to Banke at A Style Diary for her use of wonderful textures, her choice of complementary pieces and her skill in creating a cosy yet classic nook. She wins an overnight stay in a luxury 5* London hotel – and we’re hoping for some pictures of that luxury bedroom as well.
Dreaming of a Luxury Bedroom
Banke’s dream bedroom is a real Winter Wonderland, centred around our beautiful Italian Four Poster Bed. Inspired by memories of her grandmother’s bedroom, she uses a palette of warm cream and ivory with gold highlights, muted tones and co-ordinating shades. She adds texture with chunkier, knitted throws and cushions alongside soft, sumptuous bed linens and the ethereal chiffon hangings of the four poster bed. Her choice of luxury bedroom furniture complements the classic style of her luxury bed, with feminine carvings and flamboyant little touches of gold. Lots of layering, delicious duvets and plump pillows are set off with a selection of mirrors to catch the light of a dozen flickering candles or enhance the beauty of intermittent winter sunshine.

I love the idea of her grandmother’s hand-crafted, luxury beds with their lovely linens – and the fact that this warm, nostalgic feeling sparked a whole bedroom design. Her choice of additional furniture shows an understanding of style and I was impressed by her skill in pulling the whole thing together with her use of warm, welcoming colours. I would definitely choose this as my own luxury bedroom.”
