Welcome to our new, wonderfully atmospheric room designs, now on display at our Chelsea showroom. Revealed at a jam-packed launch party with Ainsley Harriott at the end of last year, each of our new rooms is designed to set an atmosphere of luxury, relaxation and comfort. Using beautiful designer lighting, sumptuous upholstery, the finest finishes and perfectly placed accessories, we have created spaces that are warm, inviting and homely. This is what every home needs – nobody wants their living space to feel staged or pretentious. It is not a set, it is your home. You still want an individual look, something unique that says who you are but without feeling contrived. The following rooms aim to do just that.
Living Room
Warm, soft and comfortable – but with some stunning and exclusive touches to make the space truly your own. We have chosen some of our favourite luxury sofas, chairs and an elegant, contrasting chaise longue to make this space friendly and easy to live with. Warm neutrals combine with highlights of vibrant teal, one of this year’s on-trend shades, adding interest and a capricious touch of colour. All the items on display can be customised from an amazing array of fabrics, colours and finishes to create something truly unique. If teal is not for you, choose your own accent colour. If you intend to embrace this year’s move towards a more colourful interior, swap out some of the neutrals and up the colour contrast in whatever shade you decide. This is a scheme that can be dressed up or down as much as you feel comfortable with.
Statement Walls
Once our colour scheme and style were decided, our designers set about the task of dressing and accessorising our living room. As you take a tour in our short video, keep an eye out for our stunning wall coverings. Statement walls, bold wallpapers and innovative coverings are trending right now and when you see the exquisite effects we have achieved, you will understand why. Behind our chaise longue you will see a gorgeous padded and upholstered wall. Undulating layers of padding are skilfully covered in an exclusive, textured fabric to create a bespoke statement wall, unique to Juliettes Interiors but something that could be re-created to your exact specifications by our interior designers.
Look a little further and you will see another eye-catching statement wall. A muted, canvas backdrop is washed with soft gold and embellished with Swarovski crystals and twinkling lights. We decided to use this on one of our walls but would love to see it on a ceiling. Again, it is a bespoke product that can be customised to fit your space. You decide how many crystals, how many lights and in what configuration. Our designers would be delighted to help you design your own outstanding wall or fairytale ceiling – this really is one of our favourite products for this year.
Soften your Space
Soft candlelight and clever lighting further enhance the warm but opulent feel of our living room. Co-ordinating table lamps throw pools of light to illuminate corners and bounce light off some of our flawless gloss finishes and magnificent mirrors. Never underestimate the difference lighting can make. You can alter the whole feel of a room simply by changing the style and positioning of ceiling lights, floor and table lamps or wall lights. We have used a combination of table lamps, chandeliers, scented votive candles and even a backlit mirror to continue our theme of warmth and comfort.
There is no room in this design for anything harsh. Even the straight lines of our innovative TV and Media Unit are softened with plush nubuck fabrics, warm bronze finishes and sumptuous quilting. When not in use, the television screen transforms into a mirror, becoming a seamless part of the décor rather than an afterthought. Dressing Room
No-one would ever believe that this was once a cold, dull basement with a low ceiling and not much going for it. Again, our interior design team have taken their vision and turned it into reality beyond even our expectations. This ugly duckling of a basement has been transformed into a beautiful, stunning and luxurious space, combining artistry with function. Using every inch of space, we have created an exquisite, bespoke dressing room, worthy of every stitch of your exclusive designer clothing collection.
Choose your Focal Point
The centrepiece of our room is this magnificent oval chest of drawers with its on-trend curves and immaculate attention to detail. We chose a high gloss grey lacquer with a mirrored top to work with our oversized gloss floor tiles and bespoke, glass-fronted wardrobes. This combination is designed to reflect light and increase the feeling of space and light.
Customise it
As with the majority of our luxury furniture, these drawers can be customised with any colour of matt or gloss lacquer, with silver, gold or champagne leaf or a mirrored finish. They can be covered in the finest leathers to change the look entirely, and our mirrored top can be swapped for stainless steel, polished silver or any one of a multitude of exquisite wood veneers. However you customise it, you can still expect expert craftsmanship, with soft, stitched leather handle loops, suede-lined drawers and a soft close system for quiet and effortless closing. Use Your Space
Our chest of drawers is surrounded by a series of bespoke wardrobes, each individually designed to fit the limited space in our basement. Each one is unique and has been created to maximise the space we had to work with, including clever storage solutions and a faultless level of workmanship. We specified these tactile, soft leather handles with contrasting white stitching and a brushed metallic finish to co-ordinate with our chest of drawers but the beauty of bespoke is the ability to choose your own materials, colours and finishes.
Clever Lighting
One of our favourite features is the clever lighting system inside each wardrobe. Each series of lights is remote controlled with a choice of colours to change the atmosphere to match your mood. Blue, yellow, magenta, green, violet – alter your colour scheme to mirror changing trends or just because you can. We wanted our room to look moody, sultry and sophisticated and went with an elegant cool blue for our photo shoot. Pop along to our showroom and we would be delighted to show you how the atmosphere subtly changes with a simple press of a button. A whole world of different effects from just one light.
Of course, no opulent dressing room would be complete without a chandelier. Obviously, we couldn’t choose a traditional style because of our limited ceiling height – and many of you may be in a similar position. Instead, we went for a real statement piece with this dazzling contemporary chandelier, its sensuous curves encrusted top and bottom with glittering Swarovski crystals. Perfect from every angle. Set above our chest of drawers, its multi-faceted crystals bounce light gently around our room for a subtle, refined effect. Again, you can change the look and the atmosphere created by simply choosing different colours for your crystals. Photographs can’t do this chandelier justice so make sure you have a look at the video to see how it really looks. Or, better still, come and see it in its full glory in our showroom.
Up Close and Personal
To get the full effect of all the displays in our showroom, we would encourage you to come and visit in person if at all possible.
